Assessment of area and height of plants
About the service
Determining the size (area and height) of plants allows you to monitor plant development, detect stress, study the influence of growth regulators, determine the state of entry into winter and predict yield.
Determining the area and height of plants is carried out using aerial scanning, creating a map and a 3-D model of the field with a high resolution (1-3 cm/pixel).
what we do
Work planning:
After receiving from the customer the coordinates of the contour of the field (fields), an individual scanning plan is agreed upon, taking into account the phase of plant development, the area of objects, the location of the object (objects) and the weather
Execution of works:
Our flight team goes to the object and scans the field from low altitudes. The scan data is transferred to our specialists who carry out data processing.
Productivity:
One flight team can scan up to 2,000 hectares per day
Results:
As a result, a map of the height of plants and a map of the design of the ground cover with vegetation are provided with the specified accuracy (for example, the percentage of plant coverage in each square meter of the field) in geoTIF and KMZ formats or in another format, as agreed with the customer. In addition, a report on the work carried out in PDF format is provided.
Promptness of providing results:
The result will be ready 72 hours after the scan
Recommendations for use:
It is recommended to measure the plants in the initial phases of development (before the crop has closed), before entering winter and after exiting winter to assess overwintering.
