Story
The DroneUA company was founded in 2014 and since its inception has always been committed to the use of unmanned technologies in various industry segments. The company has achieved its greatest achievements in the field of agriculture; DroneUA technologies are used on more than 3.5 million hectares of cultivated areas in Ukraine. The company cooperates with both the largest agricultural holdings in the country and small farms.
DroneUA has an engineering division, an import and distribution center, as well as training and data processing centers.
Since the beginning of 2016, DroneUA technologies have been successfully exported to foreign markets.
DroneUA became the winner of the all-Ukrainian competition and will represent the industry of Ukrainian unmanned technologies at the National stand of Ukraine as part of the largest import exhibition in China, where the company’s specialists will present technologies for remote processing of satellite and drone data.
Technologies
In the industrial application of drones, several components are used at once, which make it possible to systematically introduce technologies into the business processes of enterprises. Unmanned systems, complexes of sensors and industrial sensors are just some of the components that are used in industry. The most valuable and knowledge-intensive block is data processing and interpretation of results. Not only drone data is taken into account, but also data from classical aviation and satellite technologies.
It is analytical work on the use of geospatial information, the creation of new data processing algorithms, and the search for new industry applications that are the key areas of DroneUA’s work.
China
China is a world leader in agricultural production; China's arable land covers 1.4 million square kilometers, which is more than 10% of the world's total arable land area. China's agricultural industry supports more than 20% of the world's population. Unlike Ukraine, where the largest producers are agricultural holdings, home agricultural production is popular in China, with the average land size being only 0.65 hectares, and the total number of enterprises exceeding 200 million units.
In China's agricultural sector, it is difficult to determine the needs of individual regions for agricultural products, as well as to forecast agricultural production.
The remote information processing processes used by DroneUA are based on the principle of data openness. It is based on public geospatial information received from satellites of various space programs. The goal of DroneUA digital services is to solve the problem of insufficient awareness and planning.
Areas of cooperation in China
Agricultural production: satellite monitoring and information analysis technologies used by DroneUA make it possible to increase the efficiency of agricultural production, generate regular reports on the planned harvest and determine the need to adjust the use of agricultural land.
Market research: DroneUA analytical work on the classification of crop areas is designed to determine the consumption needs of individual regions or countries for imported products, such as seed or plant protection products.
Emergency situations: technologies for analyzing large amounts of data are in demand in case of determining the damage caused by natural disasters.
Creation of joint products: in partnership with local electronics manufacturers, DroneUA provides solutions for the formation of joint products that combine the high level of equipment production and analytical expertise of DroneUA.

In August 2018, work began on the classification of crop areas in Hebei Province
Technologies: Use of neural networks and high-resolution satellite images, application of DroneUA analytics processes for early classification of crops.
The goal of the project is to predetermine the production volumes of agricultural crops to analyze the planned volumes of consumption and logistics.
Implementation period: December 2018.
In September 2018, a project was launched to analyze the level of damage from Typhoon Mangkhut in the cities of Hong Kong and Shenzhen
Technologies: Using neural networks and high-resolution satellite images, using DroneUA analytics processes to assess changes in structural damage and flood levels.
The goal of the project is to determine the damage caused by natural phenomena.

The main goal of entering the Chinese market is to form new partnerships with local manufacturing companies and create joint highly intelligent products for further distribution throughout the world.
DroneUA is already a partner of the Chinese company SZ DJI Technology Co., Ltd., which is one of the most promising innovative enterprises in China, known in the world under the DJI brand. DroneUA products based on DJI technologies are successfully used by various industrial enterprises in Ukraine, northern European countries, Moldova, Georgia and Kazakhstan.
Drone.UA is a leading integrator of unmanned technologies on the Ukrainian market. The company operates in the fields of energy and oil and gas industries, as well as in the fields of geodesy and topography.
