Today's labour market requires specialists to have practical skills in working with advanced technologies at the stage of study. That is why the integration of the latest technologies into the educational process is a crucial step for the effective training of personnel who will meet the needs of the industry immediately after graduation.
As part of the development of technological education in Ukraine, on 21 February 2025, DroneUA signed a memorandum of cooperation with Lutsk National Technical University, which is an important step in creating a new generation of specialists and opens up greater opportunities for the development of agrodron technology in modern agriculture.
The signing of the memorandum envisages active cooperation between DroneUA and students in two areas:
- agrotechnology: training of agronomists and agroengineers at the Faculty of Agriculture;
- information technology: training of specialists in digital solutions for agriculture at the Faculty of Information Technology.
As part of the cooperation, the parties agreed to open a specialised classroom at the Faculty of Agriculture of Lutsk National Technical University, as well as
- creation of a modern educational and material base for training specialists in agronomy and agrotechnology;
- updating and improving educational programmes in agricultural disciplines, developing new teaching materials;
- exchange of knowledge and conducting scientific and practical research on the basis of the university;
- organisation of educational lectures and trainings for teachers to improve their skills, as well as the introduction of online mentoring programmes;
-conducting practical classes for a deeper understanding of theoretical knowledge;
- expanding opportunities for internships and work placements, which will help to gain real-world experience and train competitive specialists.
Anatolii Bezoliuk, Head of DroneUA, XAG Ukraine, together with his partner LevSmartAgro, gave a lecture to university students on the practical integration of agrodrones into agriculture, and outlined the prospects for the development of the agrarian profession and unmanned technologies in the domestic agricultural sector in the future.
The expert noted the strategic importance of business cooperation with Lutsk National Technical University, as it is a practical opportunity for students to get involved in the latest technologies while studying, and for DroneUA, as well as for the domestic agricultural sector as a whole, such cooperation will provide a powerful reinforcement in the form of a young qualified generation of farmers in the near future.
Hence, practical training, innovative methods and access to modern technologies will help students gain competitive skills before entering the labour market.
