Fly a drone, communicate with a hologram and undergo VR practice. The EASE Association has launched a series of virtual tours of IT companies for students and schoolchildren. The pilot release of the project started in DroneUA.
The European Association of Software Engineering provides online access to the offices of the most innovative companies in Ukraine and the world. Without leaving the school classroom, while attending a lecture or undergoing an internship, it will now be possible to penetrate the holy of holies of advanced technological production, nano laboratories and artificial intelligence research centers.
Pilot project “online excursions” for students of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture was launched together with DroneUA.
How was it?
Participants checked the time with Valery Yakovenko — CEO DroneUA. We saw a huge number of industrial unmanned platforms, drone sprayers, airplanes, a robotic farm, flew through the drone presentation area, launched a drone and asked questions to the top manager.
Communication took place using the Zoom platform and in real time Valery talked about the life of the company, technologies, robots, innovations and shared his personal experience, because it is very important for students to hear valuable information first-hand. The most active participant in the virtual excursion received an invitation to visit the DroneUA company in an offline format.
More than 100 students attended the first virtual excursion.

The main goals of the EASE project — to inspire the younger generation of Ukrainians to create their own revolutionary solutions, to provide an opportunity to communicate with top managers of high-tech companies. An addition to the virtual excursion will be IT matinees on New Year's Eve for younger audiences, where they will demonstrate the basics of the exact sciences, the basics of programming and much more.
