Since the beginning of November, on the initiative of a member of the CUP, co-founder of the DroneUA company Valery Yakovenko, a subcommittee on Agro IT CUP has been created. His goal — collaboration of developers of the Ukrainian agricultural technology market, exchange of information between IT and the agricultural sector, as well as the introduction of integrated technological solutions in agricultural companies.
«The idea of creating an AgroIT subcommittee is to unite market participants and create an environment for active interaction and support between different teams. Technology companies, although individually effective, create synergies together. In my opinion, the SUP is a platform where the best representatives of both agricultural production and the IT industry have already met », — says the chairman of the subcommittee Valery Yakovenko.
The main technological areas of activity of the subcommittee will be:
- issues related to the management of the land bank of agricultural enterprises, which is especially important in anticipation of the opening of the land market;
- technologies for controlling agricultural production and ways to improve the efficiency of agricultural operations;
- IT solutions aimed at processing agricultural products;
- increase in the percentage of added value of export products in Ukraine.
