The latest model of the Gladius Mini underwater drone from the manufacturer Chasing-Innovation has appeared on the Ukrainian market. In addition to the fact that the drone is compact, it also impresses with the quality of shooting and control.
The drone is already available for order on the DroneUA website and in the network of our partners. The device can be used for both industrial tasks and hobbies.
Gladius: new technical capabilities
With dimensions of 384x224x137 mm, Gladius Mini weighs only 2.5 kg. The drone is equipped with a 4K/30 fps/12 megapixel video camera and two LED spotlights. Maximum speed is 4 knots (2 m per second).
Videos and photos are recorded onto the built-in SD card. Video is transmitted in 720p format via cable to the shore or on board a boat on the surface of the water. A special application allows you to receive broadcast video on your smartphone screen via Wi-Fi. The drone can be controlled via a controller with a dual joystick.
Three auxiliary propellers are installed for maneuvering and stable movement. Two of them are located at the front of the body, and one at the back to provide the necessary balance. Finally, two more drives (Main Propeller), located at the rear of the body, are responsible for the power and speed of the drone.
Gladius Mini is easy and convenient to operate. To do this, you can use a remote control, which will not cause any difficulties for anyone, since its design and set of functional keys and levers are made in the image and likeness of gaming remotes. The device is equipped with two controllers for moving the drone down, up, left and right, between which there is a power switch.
Adjustable tilt angle and easy maneuverability
Gladius Mini has good maneuverability and an adjustable tilt angle (up to ±45°). This is very convenient not only for management purposes, but also for creating video and photo materials that are amazing in content and quality. To allow for a variety of tilt options, the drone is equipped with five independent motors and a function that allows the operator to adjust the tilt angle according to the operator's preference.
Although Gladius Mini is smaller in size than other models in the series, it is distinguished by increased power and amazing maneuverability. These qualities are the result of the appearance of five independently operating engines in the design of the device. They guarantee precise and safe movement under water or on its surface in any direction.
