Alternative energy is currently one of the most promising and important areas of development in the energy industry. In particular, the use of solar energy opens up new opportunities to reduce dependence on centralised energy supply, which allows for greater autonomy for both domestic and commercial consumers.
DroneUA, as an integrator of non-volatile solutions of its international partner, the EcoFlow brand, took part in the IX Business & Legal Energy Forum held on 25 September in Kyiv.
The event brought together leading energy industry experts, business and government representatives to discuss the mechanisms and stages of restoring the Ukrainian energy system in the current environment.
In particular, as part of the panel discussion, EcoFlow Ukraine brand manager Sergii Silin focused on the prospects for the development of solar generation in his report “Energy saving track of Ukraine's reconstruction projects”:
“Ukraine has sufficiently favourable conditions for the use of solar energy, and EcoFlow brand solutions can ensure the energy autonomy of consumers in the spring and summer period by almost 100%”.
In addition, the expert noted the importance of introducing financing for both households and businesses in the installation of solar generation sources at the state level, as such a mechanism has already been successfully implemented in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and other countries.
Sergii Silin also noted the effectiveness of using solar panels in combination with portable and stationary solutions of the brand, which will allow to satisfy not only the basic needs of users in energy consumption, but also provide full energy autonomy. As a reminder, up to 200,000 Ukrainian families have already become energy independent with EcoFlow solutions, which equates to a total capacity of up to 250 MW and reduces the load on the centralised grid.
We would like to thank the event organisers, Yurydychna Praktyka, and all the participants of the event for the substantive discussion.
