DroneUA, a leading system integrator of unmanned technologies and advanced geospatial solutions in Eastern Europe, is seeking a GIS Specialist / Photogrammetrist. In this role, you will work with aerial survey data, satellite imagery, and LiDAR datasets to deliver high-precision geospatial products. 

Areas of Responsibility: 

  • Topographic and geodetic surveying, field measurements
  • Processing data from UAVs, satellite imagery, and LiDAR point clouds
  • Generating orthomosaics and thematic maps, maintaining and updating geospatial databases in GIS
  • Preparing cartographic and technical deliverables, compiling technical reports
  • Quality assurance and control (QA/QC) of processed geospatial data
  • Field visits and business trips as required 

Requirements: 

  • Degree in Geodesy, Land Management, Engineering Geodesy, or related fields
  • Hands-on experience in surveying, field measurements, and data post-processing (priority: Middle level, open to junior candidates with strong analytical and research capabilities)
  • Solid understanding of topographic surveying, coordinate systems, and geodetic measurement principles
  • Proficiency in QGIS, ArcGIS, and MS Office
  • High precision, attention to detail, and readiness for field deployment
  • Ability to independently analyze data and write structured technical reports 

Nice to Have: 

  • Certified Geodetic Engineer license
  • Practical experience in UAV aerial mapping, flight planning, and GCP placement
  • Hands-on skills in Pix4Dmapper, Pix4Dmatic, Agisoft Metashape, or DJI Terra
  • Experience with SLAM scanning and point cloud processing (CloudCompare, Autodesk ReCap, Leica Cyclone)
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • English language proficiency
  • Category B driver's license
