The development of emerging technology markets does not end with the launch of a product and its availability to users. The widespread adoption of technology creates new usage scenarios, changes user behaviour, and requires the development of relevant knowledge, practical skills, and a culture of interaction.
Personal electric mobility has already become an integral part of urban transportation. As the number of electric scooters on the roads continues to grow, the development of e-mobility increasingly extends beyond the technical specifications of vehicles. User safety, understanding the urban road environment, and responsible interaction with other road users are becoming just as important for the growth of the category as the technological capabilities of the vehicles themselves.
This is the approach DroneUA implements through Robotics Distribution — the company’s distribution division and official distributor of NAVEE in Ukraine. The brand’s development in the local market involves not only providing access to modern personal electric mobility solutions but also building a practical ecosystem around the technology through testing, partnership projects, demonstrations, and improving user awareness and understanding.
On August 8, NAVEE, together with KARAT Driving School, hosted a free theoretical and practical event in Kyiv dedicated to safe electric scooter use. The initiative combined DroneUA’s technological expertise and NAVEE solutions with the driving school’s professional experience in road user education.
At the same time, the event demonstrated the broader potential of personal electric mobility in everyday urban transportation. Electric scooters can serve as a practical solution for short daily routes, commuting, trips to and from public transport hubs, and last-mile journeys, complementing other forms of urban mobility.

The theoretical part of the event was conducted by an instructor from KARAT Driving School. Together with participants, she reviewed real-life situations electric scooter users encounter during daily urban travel, as well as the factors that directly influence road safety.
"Electric scooters have become a very popular and accessible form of transport, which means that the number of electric scooter users on the roads continues to grow. That is why mutual respect, basic knowledge of traffic rules, and responsible behaviour are becoming increasingly important today," noted the KARAT Driving School instructor.

During the theoretical session, participants explored the key principles of safe urban riding: speed control, timely braking, maintaining a safe distance, assessing road conditions, and interacting with drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. Special attention was given to adapting riding behaviour to specific conditions — traffic intensity, visibility, road surface quality, and pedestrian flow.
After the theoretical session, participants moved on to practical NAVEE electric scooter testing. On a specially organised training area, they practised basic riding elements, including starting, speed control, manoeuvring, changing direction, and maintaining control during braking.

The practical session allowed participants to immediately apply the recommendations received during the educational part and better understand how electric transport behaves during different riding scenarios.
Following the practical training, participants also had the opportunity to take part in a giveaway for a new NAVEE electric scooter.

"Today, an electric scooter is no longer just a solution for short trips or leisure activities. For many users, it has become part of their daily commute, which means that safety is inseparable from the development of the category itself. That is why we decided to combine the introduction to NAVEE with professional training at KARAT Driving School — to demonstrate that modern mobility begins not only with technology, but also with understanding how to use it properly. For us, this is one of the key priorities in developing this technology segment," said Maksym Slyvka, NAVEE Brand Manager. This format combined technology with practical user education — an approach that is becoming increasingly important as personal electric mobility continues to scale.

For DroneUA, the development of new technology categories goes beyond the distribution of individual products. Through Robotics Distribution, the company creates conditions for their practical integration into the Ukrainian market — from ensuring technology availability and developing a partner network to demonstrating real-world usage scenarios. Through Robotics Distribution, which is part of the DroneUA group of companies and is among Ukraine’s TOP 10 IT distributors, new technology categories are introduced to the Ukrainian market and gradually become part of users’ everyday lives.

In the e-mobility segment, this approach means not only providing access to modern personal electric mobility solutions but also creating a responsible model of adoption and use. Combining technological solutions, practical skills, and an understanding of interaction within the urban environment is essential for the further development and scaling of the category.
The joint initiative with KARAT Driving School became one of the practical examples of this approach. For DroneUA, the development of e-mobility is not only about introducing new products to the market but also about creating conditions for their full integration into everyday life through technology, practical experience, partnerships, and responsible adoption and use.
