That’s why we are inviting a VAT Operations Accountant to join our team — someone who works structurally, understands the logic of tax processes, and can ensure data accuracy at every stage as it moves through the system.
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- preparing tax invoices and adjustment calculations in the accounting system and transferring them to M.E.Doc;
- verifying the accuracy of UTKZED codes and the validity of buyers’ tax identification numbers;
- reconciling nomenclature between primary documents and tax invoices;
- checking correct tax invoice generation according to the “first event” rule;
- controlling tax invoices and adjustment calculations in M.E.Doc, ensuring their proper reflection in accounts 6431 and 6432, and performing monthly closing;
- monitoring the formation of tax credit and reconciling data between the accounting system and M.E.Doc for accounts 6441 and 6442;
- participating in procedures for unblocking tax invoices and adjustment calculations.
Required competencies for the candidate:
- relevant education: accounting, finance, or economics;
- at least one year of work experience;
- knowledge of tax legislation and accounting standards;
- confident use of accounting systems, Word, Excel, M.E.Doc, Sonata, and Vchasno;
- understanding of the Tax Code of Ukraine requirements regarding VAT, as well as rules for completing tax invoices, adjustment calculations, and declarations;
- attentiveness, responsibility, punctuality, and accuracy — as essential tools for ensuring smooth system operation.
