Ukraine has returned to the global innovation stage at the world’s most influential technology event, the Consumer Electronics Show 2026in Las Vegas, USA. This year’s participation is of particular significance for the country’s engineering and economic sectors: thanks to an active stance and international recognition, Ukrainian technologies are being showcased in Global Pavilions for the first time, alongside technology ecosystems from around the world. Presence in this global zone is a clear message of Ukraine’s industry maturity and the export orientation of its market players.

Organized by DroneUA in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraineand the Ukrainian Startup Fund, the first day of the Ukrainian delegation’s work set the tone for Ukraine’s entire presence going forward. The opening of the Ukrainian Pavilion became an embodiment of unity between technology, business, diplomacy, and state institutions. It was a confident statement of the ability to operate at the level of global markets, think at scale, and create long-term value.

“Our participation at CES 2026 is the second consecutive confirmation that Ukraine is capable of representing its technology ecosystem on the world’s main innovation stage. Being part of Global Pavilions is not just a privilege — it is a sign that Ukrainian companies are already operating at the level of leading global ecosystems.

DroneUA proudly serves as the leader and main organizer of this pavilion, bringing together Ukraine’s strongest engineering and technology teams to showcase our solutions to the world, expand partnerships, and create new opportunities to scale Ukraine’s innovation-driven business,” notes Valerii Iakovenko, Co-founder and Managing Partner of DroneUA.

The ceremonial ribbon-cutting was carried out by Gary Shapiro, President and CEO of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and the CEO and producer of CES, serving as a vivid marker of international recognition for Ukraine’s innovation ecosystem alongside the national technology clusters of the world’s leading economies.

“Today’s event at CES is extremely important not only for individual companies, but for all of Ukraine. Our presence in CES’s main hall among other global players shows that Ukraine is capable of becoming a technology hub for the world, because Ukrainian innovations are demonstrating cutting-edge solutions in autonomous systems, robotics, AI, energy, and other key technology domains.

This is confirmation that Ukraine is no longer only a participant — it is shaping the future of technology and taking its place among the world’s leading innovation ecosystems,” emphasizes Oleksandra Afanasieva, Chief Producer of the Ukrainian Pavilion at CES and Strategic Advisor to DroneUA.

Representatives of Ukrainian and international institutions joined the ceremony, and their participation underscored the strategic nature of the Ukrainian Pavilion’s work:

  • Dmytro Kushneruk — Consul General of Ukraine in San Francisco;
  • Oleksii Khorosh — Consul (Trade&Investments, West Coast and Mountain states);
  • Yulia Myronenko — Specialist at the U.S. Commercial Service in Ukraine.

The presence of representatives of the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco and the U.S. Commercial Service in Ukraine positioned the Ukrainian Pavilion as a point of intersection between technology, government support, and international economic cooperation.

The Ukrainian Pavilion was presented by the team that shaped its strategy, content, and international positioning:

  • Vladimir Gaplik — Ukrainіan Pavilion Scale-Up Delegation Leader;
  • Оlena Hutsul — Ukrainian Pavillion Coordinator, Head of Strategic Communications, DroneUA;
  • Olha Prudka — International Strategic Partnerships Lead (Diia.City Project Office) Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine;
  • Anna Motrych — Project Manager at USF, Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

“For us, it is a great honor to open the Ukrainian Pavilion at CES 2026 in Global Pavilions. We are sincerely grateful to the Consumer Technology Association and personally to Gary Shapiro for this opportunity and support. Such a presence is of special importance for Ukraine — it is evidence of the maturity of the Ukrainian technology ecosystem, its readiness to operate in global markets, scale up, and be a reliable partner for international business.

The companies and startups presented in the pavilion are engineering teams that create applied technologies for the real world: medicine, infrastructure, ecology, the agricultural sector, logistics, and digital transformation. The Ukrainian Pavilion is the result of joint work by business, government institutions, and international partners — it is precisely this kind of cooperation that makes it possible to speak the language of technology diplomacy through partnerships, joint projects, and long-term economic cooperation,” noted Vladimir Gaplik.

The core of the Ukrainian Pavilion consists of mature technology companies in the fields of unmanned technologies and robotics, logistics and environmental solutions for sustainable development, as well as software and engineering products based on Data & AI: DroneUA | Futurology,BEETLESSVATAG, N-IX, andFarmFleet. Together, they demonstrate the readiness of Ukrainian solutions for scaling and long-term operation in complex industrial environments.

Alongside them, the pavilion features the startup-block teams working at the intersection of engineering, artificial intelligence, and new manufacturing approaches, forming the foundation for the next stage of ecosystem development. The startup block includes: 3D UTU, DOZOR AI by VARTA, HEFT, Ovul, Tykho Electronics, Shapid AGV – Robotic Platform, Sirocco Energy, and Lanka Robotics.

Together, Ukrainian engineering groups operate in highly competitive conditions shaped by real global market demand, shaping a new technological reality and setting development benchmarks for the technology industry in the years ahead.

The first day of the Ukrainian Pavilion at CES 2026 marked the beginning of an intensive dialogue with international partners, integrators, investors, and industry representatives. Together, they form the basis for developing cross-cultural projects and scaling scenarios for Ukrainian technologies across different sectors. Ahead are three days of intensive work aimed at attracting investment to Ukraine’s technology sector.

CES 2026 visitors can explore the solutions of Ukrainian companies, meet the teams, and discuss partnership opportunities at the Ukrainian Pavilion booth in the Global Pavilions area, booth №50352. This is where the exhibition is concentrated, showcasing the current state of Ukraine’s technology ecosystem: from mature industrial solutions to promising engineering developments ready for integration into global markets.

The Ukrainian Pavilion is delivered with the support of the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco, the U.S. Commercial Service in Ukraine, and the Ukraine–Moldova American Enterprise Fund.
