DroneDeploy та DroneUA – важливі оновлення червня
Published on  Updated on

In the first half of 2019, DroneDeploy already serves more than 5,000 customers, supporting 400,000 jobs in more than 180 countries. In Ukraine, DroneDeploy is available to all DroneUA clients and in the Smart Trading dealer network.
The first quarter of 2019 saw a big leap forward with new flight modes, deeper insights and expanded capabilities for enterprises.
DroneDeploy has become a truly end-to-end solution for the entire enterprise drone program.

Drone Operations Suite
Managing any large project used to be a complex process. Large-scale unmanned missions required in-depth team training on various tools and workflows.
DroneDeploy is now releasing a suite of capabilities that enable drone operations for companies of all sizes

With the new consolidated flight logs, employees can automatically collect all flight information. Custom pre-checklists ensure staff are following standard operating procedures. By using pre-flight checklists, businesses can improve the quality of data collection and minimize the risk of drone accidents, property damage, or danger to people at each site.

By using pre-flight checklists, businesses can improve the quality of data collection and minimize the risk of drone accidents, property damage, or danger to people at each site.

Flight logs record all flight activity and provide complete visibility into the entire drone program automatically - without requiring pilots to go through any extra steps to record their work. Each detailed flight report includes flight parameters, speed and maximum altitude, including the drone's flight path data.

Additionally, the flight log dashboard allows you to filter data by date, pilot, and project to track performance.

Pilot oversight and equipment certification are an important part of ensuring that an enterprise's drone program meets all government regulations. The program makes it easy to view who needs to renew their certification and whose certification has expired. Drone registrations are tracked, allowing you to see any drone or battery that your team has used.

By storing all this information on one platform, an enterprise can stay on top of any potential security or compliance issues.

Evaluating and applying for airspace clearance is also important for safe flight in controlled airspace. DroneDeploy's integration with Airmap allows customers to view all airspace advisories for scheduled flights and request LAANC clearance if necessary.

Complete data collection
Fly anywhere, capture anything with handheld flights
DroneDeploy carries out more than 80,000 autonomous missions every month, automatically processing and storing maps, 3D models, videos, panoramas and photos. Automated missions make it easy for anyone in the enterprise to fly and collect aerial imagery, but we also recognize the need for manual flight to perform additional tasks.

This release brings access to Manual Flight to DroneDeploy! Fly and record photos and videos in manual mode. Now you can do it all with DroneDeploy.

Earthworks
Keep projects on schedule, communicate progress and manage logistics effectively
Construction work related to site preparation is one of the most uncertain and expensive parts of any construction process and can often lead to delays and cost overruns. Previously, it was very difficult to estimate how much earth needed to be moved and how long it would take. Be it new work on a project or tracking the progress of work that is already underway.

DroneDeploy's Earthworks capabilities make it faster and easier than ever to accurately measure the work required to achieve the final result, keeping projects on schedule and keeping owners regularly informed of the process.
Instead of visually observing progress in the field or waiting weeks while your development team compares survey data to grading plans, DroneDeploy's cut/fill capabilities allow you to visualize and accurately size mounds.
These new capabilities will also help mining companies plan production, track site activity, and—when combined with DroneDeploy's inventory reporting—manage on-site inventory to optimize production and reduce write-offs.

3D measurements and annotations
You can now view, edit, and create 3D annotations that include marker, line, area, and volume measurements. Easily compare inventory volumes and heights in 3D to more accurately measure inventory and understand changes in inventory or land movements.

Radiometric functionality
Whether you're looking for faulty electrical equipment or heat loss, radiometric thermal imaging can help identify problems faster so you can correct them before they become more dangerous and costly.

Now that you capture and process radiometric thermal images in DroneDeploy, you can set up your radiometric thermal imaging and check the temperature at a point to find not only relative hot and cold spots, but also identify areas that are outside expected operating conditions. Not sure what causes a hot or cold spot? You can easily compare the heat map with a visual spectrum map to identify the problem.

Save time with automation
Sharing data between the tools your teams use can be very cumbersome. That's why DroneDeploy introduces Autoexport.

With automatic export, you can set up export once per project and have peace of mind knowing that your latest processed maps will automatically generate the right files with the right parameters, such as EPSG codes.
Take automation one step further by integrating with familiar apps like Bluebeam, PlanGrid, and OneDrive to automatically sync the latest maps to the right file system directory locations.
Eliminate manual work and increase productivity with automatic export.
Support for new drones
Dronedeploy and DroneUA are also pleased to announce that they have added support for two more drones: Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual and Matrice 200/210 V2 series.
The Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual is equipped with both FLIR and RGB thermal imaging. A single flight with DroneDeploy will generate both a heat map and an orthomosaic map. You can also use DroneDeploys Thermal Live Map with this drone (available for enterprise accounts).
