The Ukrainian company-integrator of unmanned technologies DroneUA joined APITU to protect the interests of exporting companies.
The main activities of APITU are now formed on the basis of the interests of importers, and proposals for reforms are carried out mainly in this area. The DroneUA company became a member of the association in order to use the opportunity to help both its own business and assist other Ukrainian enterprises in the sale of domestic products abroad.
DroneUA’s goals as a member of the organization:
In Ukraine, in addition to the problems of importing products, there are also huge difficulties in exporting. The issue of double certification of goods is acute, which pushes Ukrainian manufacturers to assemble equipment abroad, when all the additional cost could be generated within the country.
The main goal of DroneUA’s public activities is to simplify the procedure for exporting unmanned and innovative technologies.
DroneUA tasks
The company is faced with the task of building a dialogue about significant changes in the procedure for exporting domestic innovative technologies with government officials — Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and the Office of the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
“After the sensational initiative “22 euros” and the negative reaction of social network users, APITU is perceived as a community of large monopolists who pursue their own interests, and not the interests of the end consumer. But this should not become the norm and prevent other Ukrainian innovative companies from changing their idea of business in Ukraine, getting rid of post-Soviet methods and developing the country”, — clarifies Valery Yakovenko, co-founder of DroneUA.
