The second day of Consumer Electronics Show 2025, a globally significant event in technological advancement, took place in Las Vegas, USA. For more than half a century, CES has been a key platform showcasing the world's most innovative companies and bringing together leading developers from around the globe.

For the Ukrainian Pavilion, the second day was marked by valuable new connections and collaboration with international media. The numerous visits from news agencies to the Ukrainian stands highlighted the strong interest of the global community in Ukraine's domestic innovations and technological developments.

In an interview with a journalist from a major U.S. business publication, DroneUA co-founder and managing partner Valerii Iakovenko discussed the opportunities and prospects for using drones and robotics in U.S. agriculture, drawing on the unique experience of Ukrainian farmers.

“Today, Ukraine is recognized worldwide as a leader in the development and application of unmanned technologies. No other country produces as much drone equipment as Ukraine does. However, few people are aware that, even before the current security challenges and geopolitical turbulence, certain areas of drone usage in Ukraine were among the largest and fastest-growing markets in the world. For instance, Ukraine’s agricultural drone market was larger than that of the entire European market”.

The technological foundation, built over more than a decade, impressed international visitors at the exhibition. Many realized that the success of Ukrainian technologies was rooted in years of innovation and development long before February 2022. Iakovenko further emphasized: “The use of drones in Ukraine has been actively developing since 2013, and industrial drone applications are among the top 10 global markets in this field. In the agricultural sector, Ukraine confidently holds the position of a world leader, demonstrating innovative approaches to integrating drones at all levels of agricultural production.”

Engaging with participants and representatives of the Ukrainian tech sector, visitors to the Ukrainian Pavilion showed great interest in the innovations presented by domestic companies. Despite significant challenges and extremely difficult conditions, Ukraine is not only sustaining its industries but is also actively exporting expertise, entering new markets, and expanding its partner network.

Ukrainian companies continue to demonstrate remarkable resilience and fortitude, overcoming crises to create innovative products that captivate not only with their technological advancements but also with the circumstances under which they are developed. This transformation process can be likened to “diamond cutting”, a refinement through adversity that the entire world is witnessing today.

Visitors to the Ukrainian stands at Consumer Electronics Show 2025 in Las Vegas repeatedly expressed admiration and surprise at the resilience and adaptability demonstrated by Ukrainian businesses. This once again highlights that the U.S. market and international companies participating in the event are fully supportive of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.

One of the key highlights of the Ukrainian startup pavilion at Eureka Park was the booth of BEETLESS, a partner startup of DroneUA and Mosqitter, showcased with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy Program (USAID CEP). The booth attracted global media representatives, providing an excellent platform to discuss innovative pest control solutions in the agricultural sector. In an interview with a leading technology publication focused on sustainable agriculture, BEETLESS representatives outlined the advantages of their non-chemical approach to pest control:

BEETLESS is safe and friendly for pollinators, people, and the environment as a whole. Our technology contributes to food security by offering innovative, environmentally friendly solutions for agriculture”.

For the first time in five years, the Ukrainian Pavilion at CES 2025 is being showcased as a global player, standing alongside leading companies from around the world. The pavilion features a diverse lineup of mature businesses, including DroneUA, Mosqitter, FarmFleet, SkyFall, HOWCOW, LUAZ Care, SoftEngi, BlueBird, Ecofactor, and Futurology.

This significant achievement was made possible through the independent organisation and leadership of DroneUA and Mosqitter, demonstrating Ukraine's commitment to innovation and global technological leadership.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Diia.City United, the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco, and the Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) for their support of the Ukrainian Pavilion at CES 2025.

We warmly invite you to visit the Ukrainian Pavilion at the global expo zone and the startup pavilion in Eureka Park on 9 and 10 January. Discover cutting-edge innovations from Ukraine and connect with the pioneers driving technological progress on a global scale.
