Amidst the unstable energy situation, Ukrainian businesses are increasingly turning to alternative power sources. Against the backdrop of the growing need for stable sources of energy supply, investments in solar generation are becoming a strategic business decision.
DroneUA, as an integrator of non-volatile solutions from its international partner EcoFlow, took part in the conference “ENERGOTECH: Solar energy for business”, which took place on 19 September in Kyiv.
The event brought together leading experts in the country's energy sector, business owners and trading companies, representatives of the public sector and the largest manufacturers of solar energy equipment to discuss the mechanics of introducing solar energy into the country's energy system.
“Effective integration of solar energy into the life and everyday life of Ukrainians is not a distant future, but a reality”, - said EcoFlow Ukraine brand manager Sergii Silin, who delivered a presentation on “Energy security of citizens, communities and the state in the winter of 2024-2025”.
In particular, the expert noted the readiness of Ukrainian users to transform their approach to energy supply by reducing their dependence on the grid. The demand for portable charging stations has doubled over the past year, and the statistics on the installation of stationary solutions for 2024 shows that Ukrainians are striving for energy autonomy.
“Next year will be a peak year for the installation of more powerful portable and stationary solar solutions, as the country's energy system needs to be restored. Now is the time to take care of our energy independence for the upcoming autumn-winter season, which, according to experts, will be difficult”, - says Sergii Silin.
The expert emphasises the growing popularity of solar panels among consumers, as the use of solar energy in combination with a charging station allows generating and storing energy, which creates more opportunities for autonomy in the face of total power outages.
During the event, DroneUA also demonstrated non-volatile solutions from our international partner EcoFlow, including new products on the Ukrainian market.
DroneUA would like to thank FPR Events for organising the expert event and all visitors for their active participation in the development of the Ukrainian energy sector.
