The DroneUA company became the ambassador of the Bee Ukrainian project - an NFT project with 10,000 unique illustrated bee characters about people who protect and support Ukraine to raise funds for Ukrainian children. Thus, the first special bee from DroneUA became the co-founder of the DroneUA company, Valery Yakovenko.
The project was created in 2022 by the Charitable Fund "Ukrainian Educational Foundation" and the Magnetto company with the participation of independent volunteers. Bee Ukrainian, created to help Ukrainian children who suffered during the war by selling NFT products.
An NFT is a type of digital asset created on the blockchain that allows ownership of a commodity that exists exclusively on the network and certifies its authenticity. For example: images, animations or videos. All images within the project are designed in the author's style of the Ukrainian designer Lyubov Romanova, and are stylized as bees, which are a symbol of hard work.
As part of the project, the organizers plan to collect $1,000,000 for the purchase of medicines and vitamins. So, on December 12, 2022, the sale of the first charity NFTs from the collection, which will later be sent to the OpenSea platform, started.
"Bee Ukrainian is a project with a global mission. A project that not only demonstrates the heroism of individuals, businesses or companies in wartime, but also helps children. Children are the very future of Ukraine, which we need to take care of right now. Therefore, now, more than ever, it is worth actively supporting them", - comments Valery Yakovenko, co-founder of the DroneUA company.
Valery Yakovenko also adds that similar initiatives that appear in the media space of Ukraine are another demonstration of the strength and indomitability of our country. Digital projects are already actively penetrating various areas of social life and supporting Ukrainians, so being a part of such a global project as Bee Ukrainian means making one more personal contribution to our victory.
Volunteers of the country, companies and public figures who actively work for the welfare and assistance of the population during the war also joined Bee Ukrainian. Among them are the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, director of Ukrposhta Ihor Smilyanskyi, frontman of the Kalush band Oleg Psyuk and Oleg Skrypka from the VV group. The collection also includes bees with 22 foreign celebrities who actively support Ukraine.
