At a time when the Ukrainian economy is undergoing fundamental transformation, issues such as investment, production infrastructure, export potential, and business sustainability are becoming strategically important. In this context, maintaining regular dialogue between Ukrainian companies and the international investment community is essential — not only to identify current challenges but also to determine practical development tools that can be applied today. These include access to capital, the creation of new markets, production localisation, and the integration of technological solutions that can support economic stability during a period of prolonged uncertainty, capable of supporting economic stability during a period of prolonged instability.

On 9 December 2025, Valerii Iakovenko, co-founder and managing partner of DroneUA, will participate in the 9th annual Ukrainian Investment Roadshow, traditionally hosted at the Clifford Chance office in London. The event will bring together over 250 participants from more than 15 countries, providing a platform for applied dialogue between Ukraine and international investors on economic development, macro-financial stability, business operations in the current geopolitical environment, and the formation of preconditions for recovery and growth.

As part of the panel discussion “Case Studies Of Successful Ongoing Wartime Investments And Innovation,” Valerii Iakovenko will present the approach of a Ukrainian technology company that continues to invest in and scale production processes, engineering expertise, and technological solutions in challenging conditions. This highlights the ability of Ukrainian businesses to support industry development and generate new opportunities in both domestic and international markets.

The discussion will also feature:

  • Maryna Khlystun, Chief Executive Officer, UkraineInvest
  • Vadym Burukin, Director, Huless
  • Yuriy Sorochynskyi, Chief Executive Officer, Nemiroff
  • Sergiy Yevtushenko, Managing Partner, UDP Renewables
  • Otto Waterlander, Founder, Hydrogen Partners
  • Olga Hamama, Special Counsel, Clifford Chance (co-moderator)
  • Yaroslav Petrov, Partner, Asters (co-moderator)

Together, the experts will focus on investment trends in key sectors of the economy, opportunities for the development of export markets, the implementation of large-scale Ukrainian business projects, and approaches to strengthening production and logistics infrastructure.

DroneUA’s participation in this discussion serves as a practical contribution to shaping an investment framework for industries that continue to operate despite ongoing challenges. The presentation of real-life cases will enable investors to better evaluate the operational readiness of Ukrainian companies, their ability to scale production processes, and their role in supporting technological development. It signals that the Ukrainian economy is not in a holding pattern — it continues to generate new growth points.

In this sense, the Ukrainian Investment Roadshow functions as a platform that brings together macroeconomic benchmarks and concrete models of action — both crucial for future recovery and growth. This panel discussion will be another step toward forming a shared vision of how investment can contribute to the long-term sustainability of the Ukrainian economy.
