No.

What are the main advantages of the cameras on the Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom?

Mavic 2 Pro is equipped with the new Hasselblad L1D-20C camera. The active area of the new 1-inch CMOS sensor is four times larger than the Mavic Pro. The larger sensor also provides better low-light performance due to a wider ISO range. The maximum ISO has been increased from 3200 to 12800.

The main focus of the Mavic 2 Zoom is dynamic perspective. The device has a 1/2.3-inch matrix with a resolution of 12 megapixels, equipped with four times zoom, including two times optical zoom (24 mm - 48 mm), for taking even more creative shots from the air.

Why was Hasselblad entrusted with the development of the L1D-20c camera for the Mavic 2 Pro?

DJI and Hasselblad worked on the L1D-20c for two years, experimenting with lens clarity, image processing engine and visual effects optimization to develop a camera with Hasselblad quality features that is small enough to fit on the new Mavic 2 Pro model . The L1D-20c also features Hasselblad's unique Natural Color Solution (HNCS) technology, allowing users to capture stunning aerial images with 20 megapixel resolution and stunning colours.

What advantages does the Mavic 2 Pro have when recording video?

The Mavic 2 Pro drone is capable of recording 10-bit Dlog-M and HDR 3840x2160 videos in 4K quality at 100 Mbps.

What is the focal length of the Mavic 2 Zoom?

Mavic 2's 24-48mm optical zoom camera supports 1080p video capture at 4x lossless zoom.

Is it possible to rotate the Mavic 2 camera at an angle of 75°? from left to right using the remote control?

No. But you can do it in head motion mode with DJI Goggles.

Why can't the Mavic 2 shoot vertically like the Mavic Pro?

The Mavic 2 camera stabilizer is designed to be more rigid, so it cannot be rotated completely 90°; for vertical shooting. However, you can select vertical mode when shooting a panorama to generate a vertically oriented photo.

Why is Dlog-M only available on Mavic 2 Pro?

Dlog-M is only available on the Mavic 2 Pro as this version was designed to give professional photographers advanced color correction capabilities.

On the other hand, the Mavic 2 Zoom has a D-Cinelike feature that makes color grading easier. Like Dlog-M, D-Cinelike preserves more brightness and color than other color profiles, allowing for more image processing.

Can Mavic 2 take photos while recording video?

No.

What is the difference between Full FOV and HQ modes in 4K Mavic 2?

Full FOV receives a 4K resolution frame shot from a 5.7K sensor, HQ crops the image in the center of the frame — although image quality is maintained, the image field is narrowed. The viewing angle at Full FOV is 75°, and at HQ – 55°. The choice should be made depending on your shooting preferences.

Is it possible to adjust the focal length for the transgrass function on the Mavic 2 Zoom?

No.

How to save original photos when shooting video in Hyperlapse mode?

You need to go to the camera settings and click on the Save Original button. Original images obtained from Hyperlapse videos can be saved in JPEG or RAW format. In Storage Location, you can choose whether to save them to the microSD card or internal memory.

What is the maximum flight distance of the Mavic 2?

18 km in ideal conditions. The result was obtained at a speed of 50.4 km/h in calm conditions with the battery drained to 0%. When flying, always check whether the battery charge is enough for the return trip.

How much wind can the Mavic 2 withstand?

Mavic 2 can withstand winds of level 5 on the Beaufort scale.

Can Mavic 2 low noise propellers be used for Mavic Pro Platinum?

No, they are not the correct size and therefore cannot be used for the Mavic Pro Platinum.

Why is the Mavic 2's maximum flight time different from its maximum hover time?

The Mavic 2's powertrain is optimized primarily for forward motion. Thanks to its aerodynamic body, Mavic 2 requires less energy when moving forward at a certain speed than when hovering in the air. Therefore, the maximum hover time in the air in calm conditions is 29 minutes, and the maximum flight time at constant speed in calm conditions – up to 31 minutes.

What is meant by multi-directional obstacle detection?

Omni-directional obstacle detection allows you to detect obstacles on the left/right, above/below and in front/behind. It only works port and starboard in ActiveTrack or Tripod Modes.

Note: Obstacle detection does not extend to a 360-degree circle. The left and right obstacle recognition system only works in special modes and conditions. DJI's warranty does not cover damage sustained while flying left or right, even when ActiveTrack and Tripod modes are activated. Be careful when operating your Mavic 2 and monitor the app for alerts.

Yes. By default, the Mavic 2's LEDs operate in automatic mode, turning the extra lighting on and off depending on the ambient light level. In the application, you can disable this function, as well as manually turn on/off the backlight.

What improvements have been made to FHD video delivery in OcuSync 2.0 compared to OcuSync?

OcuSync 2.0 supports both 2.4 and 5.8 GHz frequency, which allows for greater immunity to interference and auto-switching to broadcast 1080p video over a distance of 8 km (in the absence of obstacles and interference, while meeting the FCC standard ).

What is the signal latency for OcuSync 2.0?

120-130 ms, which is 40-50 ms less compared to the first generation.

Does the remote control have an HDMI connector?

No.

Can I use the Mavic Pro remote to control the Mavic 2?

Not possible at the moment. However, this will be possible soon.

Can I use a regular USB cable to connect my smartphone to the remote control?

You can connect your smartphone to the remote control using a standard USB cable using the USB connector at the bottom of the remote control (the cable must be inserted into the Micro USB connector). However, this may be somewhat inconvenient when operating the device. The drone comes with cables with different connectors.

Does Mavic 2 support Wi-Fi?

No. You can only control the drone using the remote control.

What mobile devices does the control panel support?

Mobile devices with a thickness of 6.5-8.5 mm and a length of no more than 160 mm will easily fit in the control panel holder. We strongly recommend removing the protective film before installing the mobile phone. For larger tablets, please purchase the dedicated DJI Mavic holder.

Can a charging hub be used to charge four batteries at the same time?

No. The charging hub charges the batteries sequentially according to their charge level, from highest to lowest. Thus, there is no need to rearrange them while charging. Sequential charging of batteries significantly speeds up the process.

How long does it take to charge the battery?

Approximately 1.5 hours.

How to store batteries when not in use?

It is recommended to fully charge the batteries at least once every three months.

Can I use other apps while updating DJI GO 4?

No. This will cause the update to fail. You will have to download and install the software update again.

Yes.

What should I do if the aircraft and batteries have different software versions?

Connect your Mavic 2 to the DJI GO 4 app. The app will then automatically begin checking software compatibility. Updates can be made in accordance with the instructions.

Does the Mavic 2 remote control support on-the-fly battery swapping when connected to DJI Assistant 2?

No. You need to connect the remote control using a USB cable, thereby providing power to establish a connection with DJI Assistant 2.

What can cause the installation of updates to fail?

  1. Batteries are low.

Before installing updates, make sure that the battery charge level is at least 50%.

  1. Turning off the aircraft or controller while installing updates.

In this case, you will need to restart your Mavic 2 and remote controller and start the update installation process again.

  1. Interruption of the Internet connection while downloading software.

If you are unable to resolve the issue or establish a connection between the controller and the aircraft, there may be a software version mismatch between the devices. In this case, update the aircraft and controller software to the latest version separately using DJI Assistant 2 on your computer.
