The Ukrainian agricultural sector holds a leading position in the world in terms of the speed and scale of robotics integration into production processes, a status made possible by the systematic work of DroneUA. The company pioneered the use of agricultural drones and built the market from scratch in Ukraine, developing standards, operational models, and practices that are now considered exemplary at the international level. Ukraine has become a country where unmanned technologies operate at industrial scale, and the volume of effectively executed field operations has long been measured in millions of hectares.
Against this backdrop, DroneUA’s participation in Agritechnica 2025 became an important component of the international presentation of Ukrainian technological expertise. This year, the exhibition brought together a record number of visitors and exhibitors — over 476,000 participants from 171 countries and nearly 3,000 companies.
Under the overarching theme “Touch Smart Efficiency,” the event demonstrated the rapid pace of global automation in the agricultural sector and how quickly innovations are moving from the research stage into real-world production.
DroneUA was present in the key thematic areas where the most technological solutions of the exhibition were concentrated. At the Digital Farm Center, approaches to practical digitalization of agricultural production were presented — from robotic precision application to intelligent data analysis algorithms.
Significant attention was drawn to the demonstrations in the Robotics Live Arena, where autonomous platforms operated in modes closely resembling real field conditions. These solutions define the next stage of automation today, and for the Ukrainian market, where technologies scale particularly rapidly, they have direct practical significance.
Additionally, during the exhibition, working meetings were held with longstanding international technology partners, including AgroCares and Pix4D. Solutions from these brands have been actively integrated by us for years in the fields of domestic businesses — forming the basis for tens of thousands of successfully implemented cases in Ukraine — from digital soil diagnostics and data analytics to large-scale projects in the extractive industry and operations using agricultural drones and robotics across millions of hectares.
This year, Agritechnica stood out for its exceptionally high concentration of engineering and technical developments that define the future of global machinery in the agricultural sector. Visitors’ attention was particularly drawn to alternative power systems, AI-based safety solutions, precise application algorithms, autonomous components, and digital equipment integration systems.
Among the key directions for industry development through 2027 are autonomy, digital systems, artificial intelligence, robotic platforms, and the development of components for precision agriculture. These form the foundation for further advancement of solutions in the agricultural sector, and they define the technological requirements for manufacturers in the coming years. Ukrainian experience, developed during the period of the most intensive global technological growth, is becoming an important part of these processes.
