At the initiative of the organization Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, which works on projects in Ukraine related to public administration reform, sustainable economic development, energy efficiency, and climate change mitigation, the Centers for Vocational Education of the State Employment Service received flagship XAG V40 crop-spraying drones.
The international group of companies DroneUA supplied agricultural drones to the Centers for Vocational Education in 6 regions and conducted comprehensive pilot training at the XAG Academy at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NUBiP).
The most ambitious educators from Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, Chernivtsi, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Odessa have already received the "Agricultural Drone Operator" certificate and will scale this new profession in their educational institutions by introducing new disciplines.
Thanks to the support of international organizations, educational institutions have a unique opportunity to actively participate in the economic recovery and the formation of a better high-tech future for Ukraine. At this historic stage of our country, the adoption of robotic technologies in the agricultural sector is essential, not only to align with global trends and even set them but also to significantly optimize production. Therefore, in addition to cost savings and the preservation of valuable natural resources, robotics provides process automation and centimeter-level precision in operations, ultimately increasing crop yields and the profitability of Ukrainian farms.
Immediately after the equipment was delivered, instructors from educational institutions underwent comprehensive training in piloting agricultural drones and basic technical maintenance. Now, educational institutions will be able to modernize their curricula in line with current market trends and introduce new disciplines and training courses to prepare versatile and in-demand professionals. Furthermore, some educational institutions have their own land plots where they grow grains, oilseeds, and fruit and vegetable crops. Thus, enhanced educational processes will be complemented by practical experience in the use of crop-spraying drones.
The international group of companies DroneUA comprehensively contributes to positive reforms in the agricultural sector and initiates activities that improve domestic agriculture at all levels, from preparing qualified personnel to field production processes.
Fruitful cooperation with partners, government agencies, and civil organizations ensures the quality modernization of the domestic agricultural sector in all corners of the country.
