At the end of last week, DroneUA, as the exclusive distributor of XAG in Ukraine, became a participant in the XAG Global Partner Conference. The event took place on October 28 in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, and brought together all European partners of the world manufacturer of unmanned technologies in agriculture, the XAG brand, on one platform. The program included a discussion of current results, a common vision of market development, and key technological areas in which XAG is actively implementing new developments. During the event, the most dynamic countries of the European market were awarded XAG honors. Among them – and Ukraine.
Despite the difficult agricultural season, the rate of introduction of sprayer drone technologies and other XAG robotics in Ukraine shows quite high indicators, setting trends at the global level. The international community once again confirms the contribution and importance of Ukrainian agribusiness in the intensity of the implementation of innovations.
«We set trends and even in the most difficult times we are ahead by a huge margin. Ukraine – the largest and most important market in Europe, and we show by our own example the crazy dynamics of AgTech in 2022. This is definitely a joint result that we achieved thanks to professional partnership, each of the dealers and especially, I want to note – openness to new technologies of our agricultural producers. Next – the depth of penetration of robotics into agriculture will only increase. And another incentive for this is the support of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, which ensured the development of official mechanisms for spraying drone flights this year», – comments Valery Yakovenko, co-founder of DroneUA.
It is worth noting that the use of unmanned technologies in agriculture is gaining momentum throughout Europe. Representatives of Great Britain and Bulgaria are among the teams that were also awarded with honorary awards.
During Valery Yakovenko's speech, the participants paid special attention to the experience of Ukraine, the launch of the FarmFleet service, and efficiency indicators. According to the forecasted calculations, the additional economic effect of the use of spraying drones only on the example of the area of grain and oil crops (about 17 million hectares in 2021) will amount to 65.5 billion dollars.
Another issue that gathered a lively discussion was related to the further possibilities of working with agrochemical companies and stimulating R&D projects for the development of pesticides accredited to the technology of ultra-low-volume application.
The DroneUA team thanks its partners for fruitful cooperation and continues to contribute to global food security.
