The DroneUA team conducted extensive testing of the Zenmuse P1 camera for the mining industry.
P1 in a complex with the Matrice 300 drone was tested at one of the enterprises of Unigran - the leading national mining company for the production and sale of granite products, building materials and explosives.
As part of the testing, the DroneUA pilots scanned 133 hectares of the territory of the Malinsky stone-crushing plant, recreating a photographic plan of the area on an accurate geodetic basis.
The use of Matrice 300 in combination with Zenmuse P1 made it possible to monitor hard-to-reach places at an industrial facility, count the amount of finished products in warehouses, and determine the volume of mining mass. The state of workplaces and transport was also investigated, and cargo transported by railway was inspected. At the end of testing, P1 filmed the mass explosion process.
As a result, DroneUA specialists analyzed the received visual data. Namely: construction of a dense cloud of points, surface models, height maps and orthophotoplan. The use of these data in combination with modern software allows taking into account minor differences or changes in the shape of embankments compared to classical methods.

The Zenmuse P1 is the most powerful drone camera designed for obtaining geospatial data. Thanks to the TimeSync 2.0 system, it receives data with centimeter accuracy and determines the coordinate of the center of photography in real time. In a complex with Matrice 300 RTK P1 can work continuously for up to 55 minutes and cover an area of 7.5 km2 in one daylight.
