We are looking for a UAV Pilot who combines practical experience with unmanned systems, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently with equipment. This role is not limited to flight operations: you will also be expected to understand how the system works, prepare equipment for operation, perform diagnostics, and identify the root causes of technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
Flight Operations
- Perform planned flight missions and UAV test flights.
- Prepare unmanned systems for flight operations.
- Check equipment functionality before and after flights.
- Analyze mission results and document technical findings.
Technical Maintenance
- Assemble and prepare UAVs for operation.
- Perform routine technical maintenance.
- Inspect and replace components when required.
- Keep equipment operational and ready for deployment.
Diagnostics & Repair
- Identify technical issues in unmanned systems.
- Diagnose equipment at component and board level.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment.
- Work with technical documentation and schematics.
Documentation
- Maintain technical documentation.
- Record flight, maintenance, and repair results.
- Prepare reports based on completed tasks.
Candidate Requirements
This role is a good fit for someone who:
- Has at least 1 year of practical experience working with UAVs or related unmanned systems.
- Understands the fundamentals of electronic circuits.
- Has practical skills in repairing electronic equipment at component level.
- Is comfortable working with technical tools and equipment.
- Is ready to combine field operations with technical and engineering tasks.
- Pays close attention to detail and takes responsibility for equipment condition.
- Can independently identify the causes of technical issues and follow them through to resolution.
A Significant Advantage
- Practical UAV piloting experience.
