Recently, there have been many reports about logistics companies — Nova Poshta and Ukrposhta — starting to test exoskeletons at their facilities. Exclusively for Logistics in Ukraine, DroneUA shared how the pilot testing of Hypershell exoskeletons was conducted and the results achieved.
According to the logistics managers at Ukrposhta, a noticeable increase in team productivity was recorded. Even with the same workload, employees using exoskeletons had significantly more energy and strength by the end of their shifts — about 20-40% more, depending on the level of daily workload.
Nova Poshta also confirmed the positive results of the exoskeleton test and highlighted improvements in employee work efficiency.
Furthermore, Hypershell exoskeletons were tested in different conditions, including extreme temperatures, as was the case at the TM RUD warehouses, where the devices demonstrated their effectiveness even at -20°C. According to employees, with the exoskeleton, the pelvic area becomes more unloaded, which helps minimize the strain on the legs and lower back.
Each of the companies involved in the research expressed their interest in adding Hypershell technology solutions to their arsenals, and DroneUA shared their plans for the brand's development in Ukraine.
“Currently, there are no competitors to Hypershell in the Ukrainian market. That’s why we are exploring directions and markets where they can be useful. In just the first few months, as leading integrators of the latest technologies in Ukraine, we’ve discovered that these devices can also assist rehabilitation centers, elderly people, police, emergency services, and packaging centers”, — says Serhiy Silin, Brand Development Manager at DroneUA.
