On October 9, Sternia, an intensive conference focused on precision agriculture, brought together more than 400 farmers, 20 industry experts, and over 50 technology companies at the Mayak agricultural enterprise in Cherkasy Region. DroneUA and Robotics Distribution took part in the event, showcasing technologies for automating, robotizing, and digitalizing different stages of agricultural production.
From Individual Technologies to an Integrated System
Precision agriculture is gradually moving beyond individual technological solutions. An autopilot, agricultural drone, irrigation system, or software platform can address a specific production challenge, but their greatest value comes when technologies become part of an integrated approach to farm management.
This is the approach DroneUA and Robotics Distribution presented at booth R-06.
The companies' technology portfolio covers different layers of agricultural production — from data and precision positioning to field automation, resource management, and technologies that support agricultural workers.

Data as the Foundation of Precision Agriculture
Agricultural digitalization starts with reliable data. Pix4Dfields enables farmers to process aerial imagery, create maps, and turn captured data into actionable information for decision-making.
This approach moves field assessment beyond visual observation toward the analysis of spatial data that can be used to plan and monitor agricultural operations.
From Mechanization to Automation
The next step is automating the operation of agricultural machinery itself.
XAG APC2 brings precision positioning and automated guidance directly to agricultural machinery. Accurate route following helps improve operational control while reducing skips and overlaps during field operations.

Another step is XAG R200, which brings robotics directly into field operations. The autonomous sprayer helps automate repetitive tasks and creates new possibilities for organizing labor across the farm.
Automation also extends to resource management. XAG Smart Irrigation turns irrigation into a more controlled and automated process, helping farms manage water more precisely and align irrigation with production needs.

Technology Infrastructure Becomes Part of the Farm
As digital and automated technologies become more deeply integrated into agricultural operations, the infrastructure supporting them becomes increasingly important.
RugOne rugged smartphones are designed for demanding working environments where mobile devices need to withstand dust, moisture, impacts, temperature fluctuations, and extended use.

EcoFlow expands the possibilities for off-grid power, providing portable energy solutions where access to fixed power is limited or mobility is required.

Technology is also changing how people work. Hypershell demonstrates that robotics does not necessarily mean replacing workers. Wearable robotics can work alongside people, helping reduce physical strain during demanding tasks.

Technology Should Solve Real Production Challenges
The solutions presented at Sternia represent different technology categories, but they share one principle: technology creates value when it addresses a specific production challenge and fits into the way a farm actually operates.
For modern agriculture, this means moving beyond the isolated adoption of individual innovations toward a more comprehensive approach to automation, data, resource management, and human capabilities.

For DroneUA, technology integration is therefore about more than providing access to a broad portfolio of modern solutions. It means understanding the production process, identifying its needs, and finding technologies that can improve efficiency at each stage.
Participation in Sternia provided an opportunity to discuss this approach directly with farmers and industry experts — focusing on real-world technology applications and the challenges facing Ukrainian agricultural enterprises today.
