The world’s largest technology exhibition, CES 2026, held on 6 – 9 January in Las Vegas, marked a new stage for the Ukrainian technology ecosystem. This year, Ukraine’s presence in the Global Pavilions was presented as a mature, scalable ecosystem that combines established, proven solutions with ambitious start-ups capable of competing at a global level.
The Ukrainian Pavilion, organised by DroneUA in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Startup Fund, brought together technology teams working across engineering and SaaS solutions, agrotechnology, unmanned systems, medical technology, and heavy robotics. This unique combination of the experience of mature companies and the dynamism of a new generation made it possible to shape the narrative of Ukrainian technologies not as individual products, but as systemic solutions for global markets.
«One of the most important steps DroneUA took when joining the organisation was accelerating decision-making processes. We act quickly and decisively. Today, everything is much easier because, over the years of participation, we have proven that we are capable partners», — said Valerii Iakovenko, Co-founder and Managing Partner of DroneUA.
Ukrainian developments in robotics, security, and agricultural technology attracted the greatest attention from CES 2026 participants, as these solutions have been tested in real-world conditions and are ready for commercial deployment across various industries.
For example, the heavy robotic platform VATAG is already prepared to perform tasks in the mining industry and the defence sector.
“Everything being created in Ukraine today represents tremendous expertise in robotics and serves as a strong example of localised production. We have the opportunity to become a technological hub not only for Europe, but for the entire world. And this is not just an opportunity — it is a fact. Ukraine has proven solutions capable of strengthening any commercial sector globally”, — added Valerii Iakovenko.
