In the context of active industrialization, a high concentration of industrial enterprises, and accumulated man-made risks, monitoring the state of the environment is gaining strategic importance, becoming not only a professional challenge but also a priority for preserving the health of communities and the sustainable development of regions. The answer is the implementation of innovative technologies and methods that will not only effectively respond to the consequences of destruction but also restore natural resources, supporting the economic resilience of the regions.

Having implemented successful projects in deploying unmanned technologies for monitoring, analytics, and recovery for over 10 years, DroneUA joined the scientific and practical conference "Methods and Practices of Improving Environmental Protection in Industrial Cities of Ukraine", organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the Government of Sweden. The event became a powerful platform for shaping the strategic guidelines of the country’s environmental security.
Participants — representatives of government institutions, scientific organizations, businesses, and civil society organizations — united their efforts to find effective tools to reduce environmental risks and improve the quality of life in industrial regions.

For a wide audience, DroneUA presented a range of innovative monitoring tools, including:
- software for geospatial data analysis PIX4D;
- multispectral and thermal imaging solutions for assessing ecosystem conditions;
- laser scanning of terrain (LiDAR);
- tools for radiological and hydrographic surveying of territories;
- underwater drones and technological solutions capable of operating at closed industrial facilities.
During the event, Hlib Lisovyi, Head of the GIS and Geodesy Department at DroneUA, conducted a practical demonstration of a modern gas analyzer for assessing the content of pollutant particles in the air — Sniffer4D Mini2, which allows detecting and recording critical pollution indicators in real time, creating maps of the spread of hazardous substances, and promptly transferring data for decision-making.

Thanks to a comprehensive approach, combining unmanned technologies, mobile platforms, and analytics, it was demonstrated that modern environmental challenges can be addressed quickly, accurately, and effectively.
DroneUA thanks the partners and organizers for their trust and the opportunity to share experience. The resilience of communities and industrial territories begins with innovative solutions and systemic interaction, which, through joint collaboration, creates a technological foundation for a healthy environment where data serves people and the future.
