We are currently looking for a Deputy Chief Accountant (Manufacturing) to take full responsibility for the accounting operations of our production unit: from raw material movement to calculating finished goods cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing end-to-end accounting for the production unit: costing, shift production reports.
- Tracking and allocating direct and indirect manufacturing costs.
- Calculating production costs and monitoring the cost calculations of finished goods.
- Monitoring manufacturing expenses, raw materials, and finished goods warehouse inventory.
- Controlling internal transfers of materials between warehouse and production facilities.
- Analyzing and verifying shift report reconciliations, writing off materials strictly per bill of materials (specifications).
- Recording finished goods and processing manufacturing transactions in the accounting ERP system.
- Ensuring proper primary documentation across the entire production and release cycle.
- Timely closing of manufacturing reporting periods, analyzing and reconciling production GL accounts.
- Working closely with the Head of Production.
- Providing methodological support to accountants, participating in accounting policy updates, and designing internal workflows.
- Monitoring accounting and tax risks, implementing corrective actions, and eliminating errors.
- Participating in automation projects for financial and management accounting.
Requirements:
- Higher or specialized secondary education in Accounting and Audit, Economics, or Finance.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Mandatory experience in a manufacturing enterprise.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing costing methodologies and cost allocation principles.
- Hands-on experience in product costing and cost breakdown calculations.
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing accounting, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
- Proficiency in BAS Accounting (or similar 1C-based ERP) and MS Office (Excel).
- Experience collaborating with software developers on ERP adjustments.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and capability to handle large data volumes.
- Analytical mindset, structured thinking, and prompt problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership qualities, initiative, strong interpersonal and stress-management skills.
- Autonomy, personal organization, results-oriented drive, and eagerness to learn.
Nice to have:
- Experience in accounting automation projects.
- Experience in formulating accounting policies and SOPs.
- Solid understanding of management accounting principles.
