Modern agriculture can no longer be imagined without precision farming technologies implemented through unmanned solutions. Understanding the importance of integrating innovations into the educational process to effectively prepare future agrarians, DroneUA recently conducted specialized training in agrodrones piloting for lecturers of Poltava State Agrarian University — one of the flagships of agrarian education in Ukraine.
This initiative became possible thanks to the synergy between business and education, including the open position of the university’s rector — Oleksandr Anatoliiovych Halych, for whom progress and innovation are the foundation of high-quality training of future agricultural specialists.

New experience and skills were gained by lecturers of the following departments:
- Plant Protection Department of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Agrotechnologies, Breeding, and Ecology;
- Agroengineering and Motor Transport Department of the Engineering and Technological Faculty.
Anatolii Bezoliuk, Head of the Agricultural Division at DroneUA, XAG Ukraine, emphasized the particular importance of the practical knowledge component in the training of specialists and highlighted that real cases and the experience of the teaching staff play a key role in shaping future professionals:
“The professional training of lecturers is the basis that allows integrating the latest technologies into the educational process. It is they who shape students’ outlook and help them work with innovative tools from the very first steps of their professional development. Practical knowledge based on personal experience is the tool that enables growing truly competitive specialists”, — the expert noted.
The training consisted of two parts, which included:
Theoretical block:
- an overview of agrodrones technologies;
- advantages of their application in agricultural production;
- practical aspects of using unmanned solutions;
- the economic efficiency of integrating agrodrones into farming.
Practical block:
- demonstration of agrodrones in action;
- key stages of configuration and piloting;
- features of operating the technology in field conditions.
DroneUA thanks Poltava State Agrarian University for their trust, openness to change, and joint aspiration to create a technological future for the Ukrainian agricultural sector. Together we strengthen an industry based on innovation, technological advancement, and systemic cooperation!
