DroneUA officially became one of the first hundred residents of Diya.City together with the largest IT companies of Ukraine and international startups.
Diya.City is a special legal regime for companies operating in the fields of information technology and robotics. Diya.City was launched on February 8.
Residency in Diya.City is completely voluntary - the transition to a special legal status occurs solely at the request of companies due to the advantages it provides to the IT business.
As Valery Yakovenko comments: "This puts us in the same line with developers of software products, specialists who created and continue to build the IT industry of Ukraine. We, as a company that is shaping its future in the direction of robotics and doing its best to make Ukrainian agriculture as efficient as possible with the use of innovative technologies, received another status confirming that we are now at the forefront of innovation in Ukraine and the world. The resident status, which is granted by the Ministry of Digital, makes it possible to scale up faster and attract investments in development. An important plus for business is the simplification of the taxation system, reporting and administration of business processes. Residency takes us to a qualitatively new level in terms of speed."
Residency at Diya.City is granted to resident companies:
- special reduced tax conditions fixed for 25 years;
- guarantees of protection of intellectual property rights;
- venture investment mechanisms according to the principles of English law;
- possibility to register employees according to alternative employment models, except FOP and under KZpP.
The application is submitted completely online, without unnecessary permits and licenses. Application processing takes up to 10 working days. A company that meets the requirements of the regulator, in particular, registered under Ukrainian legislation and engaged in qualified activities, can become a resident.
"There are many components in the Diya.City residency structure that make it the most beneficial for innovative companies around the world. Many colleagues who follow our activity from neighboring markets are interested in becoming Diya.City residents, just like us. The presence of a tax on "withdrawn capital" and the possibility of registering employees in various formats is very beneficial. Valery Yakovenko comments. — The solutions currently being presented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation are the future of global economic systems in principle. Such projects blur the borders between countries and give an entrepreneur the opportunity to work where he is comfortable and where he sees the future of his business. This is another confirmation that you can work in Georgia, Azerbaijan, Poland or on the territory of Australia, but remain a resident of Ukraine and pay taxes in full in our country. This is a nice opportunity for companies that see their future in regional scaling or going global! ...For those companies that have decided to move "into the white" in an exceptionally transparent way, entering Diya.City will be extremely easy and simple. I recommend becoming residents of Diya.City to all companies working in the field of IT and robotics."
Diya.City is the creation of a fundamentally new system of interaction between the state and business. Legislative changes will allow businesses to simplify most legal processes and make them as transparent as possible, and employees to receive higher salaries while working absolutely legally.
